The Freespirit Evolution V2 hardshell rooftop tent is available in two sizes - the Standard Evolution V2 and the Evolution V2 XL.
Designed to sleep 2-3 people, each Freespirit Evolution V2 tent comes with an AirCore mattress - providing extreme comfort and allowing you to store more bedding inside when deflated.
From setup in under 60 seconds to extreme weather protection, including an insulated tent body, the Evolution V2 roof top tents have it all!

- Size Options - The Evolution V2 tent offers Standard and XL versions to accommodate a variety of vehicles and preferences for customers.
- AirCore Mattress - With the Evolution V2's all new air core mattress you control the comfort of your sleep.
- Simple Setup - Upgraded gas struts make opening and closing the Freespirit Evolution V2 extremely simple.
- Flex Storage - Even when closed, the Evolution V2 can fit a large sleeping bag inside its frame. Outside its frame, you can add a pair of crossbars to bring the bulkiest gear with you.
- Channel Slots - The Freespirit Evolution V2 roof top tents also feature channel slots on all four sides, top and bottom, in order to maximize your options. With the addition of each awning bracket, you get 25 lbs more weight capacity for your awnings, canisters, tools, showers, etc.
- Insulated Tent Body- The Evolution V2 tents' Tri-Layer tent body keeps you warmer in the winters and cooler in the summers. Similar to premium puffy jackets, it's sonic-welded and moisture-wicking.
- Integrated LED - Illuminate the room with the upgraded dimmable LED light strip that runs along the ceiling of your tent - powered via USB type A.

Will the Evolution V2 tents fit on my vehicle?
Yes, the Freespirit Evolution V2 has two versions to accommodate various setups - the Standard Evolution V2 and the Evolution V2 XL (which fits larger trucks and SUVs).
What do I need to get this roof top tent installed on my car or truck?
To mount the Evolution V2 rooftop tents on your vehicle, you'll need a roof rack or a bed rack that has cross bars (running from one side of the vehicle to the other) that can handle the weight of the tent.
Are roof top tents too heavy?
With the right roof rack, you can mount almost any tent to almost any vehicle. Simply check the dynamic weight capacity of your roof rack and compare it to the weight of the tent. As long as the roof rack can handle the weight, you're good to go. You do not need to worry about the weight with people inside, as that's a static weight capacity which is much, much higher.
How much does the Evolution V2 roof top tent weigh?
The Evolution V2 comes in two sizes. The Standard Evolution V2 weighs 164 lbs and the Evolution V2 XL weighs 184 pounds.

Roof top tents like the Freespirit Evolution V2 hard top tents are actually safer to sleep in than ground tents. They elevate you off the ground, away from animals, critters, and water. The tents are also securely fastened to the car, so you don't have to worry about being up higher.
Are hard shell roof top tents worth it?

They provide extra protection from weather and generally last a few years longer than soft shell tents.
